SC to hear Cong-JD(S) petition on K'taka polls at 1:45 am

After the Congress-JD(S) alliance sought to stop the swearing-in ceremony of BJP's BS Yeddyurappa as Karnataka's Chief Minister, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the petition at 1:45 am. This comes after Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala invited the BJP, which emerged as the single largest party, to form the government. Yeddyurappa was given 15 days to prove the BJP's majority.
