Scam-hit betting app 'Mahadev' reappears as 'Mahaadev'

The controversial betting app 'Mahadev', whose operations were stopped after a ₹6,000 crore money laundering investigation by ED, has reappeared as 'Mahaadev', reports said. It is now allegedly being used not just to bet on ongoing IPL matches but also on the upcoming Assembly elections. This comes despite a 2025 law banning online games involving money.
