Travellers planning to apply for a Schengen visa, be prepared to pay a higher application fee. The fee for a short-stay Schengen visa will be hiked by 12%, as per a proposal submitted by the European Commission. For adults, the cost will increase to 90 Euros (₹8,148) from 80 Euros (₹7,239).
