School dropout rate lowest in Kerala at 0.11%: State Education Min

Kerala recorded the lowest school dropout rate in the country at 0.11% in 2019-20, according to state Education Minister C Raveendranath. "In Ministry of Education's (erstwhile MHRD) performance index, for the last two years Kerala was able to come to the top," the minister said. As per Education Ministry, the national average dropout rate is 17.06%.
