Schoolkids in MP jump over step-dam to cross river daily, clip surfaces

A video from Madhya Pradesh showed schoolchildren from Vidisha district jumping over a dangerous stop-dam to commute to school in the absence of a bridge. Administration officials said the students use the stop-dam as the road route adds 8-10 km to their journey. Vidisha's Sub-Divisional Magistrate said the children would be given bicycles so they can use the safer route.
