Schools closed in Himachal Pradesh amid heavy rainfall

Schools in nine of 12 districts in Himachal Pradesh were closed on Monday due to heavy rain and snowfall. The authorities have warned the public against going into high reach areas and near rivers. Manali recorded the highest rainfall in the state at 127 mm, followed by Dharamshala at 125 mm and Una at 124 mm.
