Schools, colleges to remain closed in Mumbai, Thane tomorrow

The Maharashtra government has announced that all schools and colleges in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Palghar and Raigad will be closed tomorrow amid heavy rainfall. Further, the government has issued advisory for residents to not venture out in streets unless absolutely necessary. The India Meteorological Department had earlier issued 'Red Alert' for seven Maharashtra districts.
