Schools in Mumbai to remain closed on July 27 amid heavy rains

In view of heavy rainfall warning in several parts of the city, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has declared a holiday for all the schools and colleges on July 27. This comes after IMD issued an orange alert for Mumbai, Thane and several other districts of Maharashtra for Thursday. Furthermore, a red alert has been issued for Ratnagiri.
