Schools will remain shut in Noida and Ghaziabad today due to heavy rainfall. Schools have also been shut in Kanpur, Aligarh, Agra, Lucknow, Hapur and Meerut. The decision will be applicable to students up to class 12. "All the principals and headmasters should ensure compliance with the order," District School Inspector Dharamveer Singh said.
