Australia on Saturday registered a six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in their opening match of the 2024 Women's T20 World Cup in Sharjah. Australia's Megan Schutt took three-wicket haul in the game and took her tally of wickets across Women's T20 World Cup editions to 43, equalling former South Africa pacer Shabnim Ismail's record for most wickets in the tournament.
