Neuroscientist Vidita Vaidya admitted she cannot locate joy or happiness in the brain. On the podcast, she said science understands fear, stress, and anxiety far better, as negative emotions are evolutionarily conserved and easy to read. Happiness, she said, is distributed and unique to each person, making a 'happy brain' the hardest thing to map.
