Scientist quits job to grow moringa, clocks ₹1.5 crore revenue

Dr Kamini Singh quit her job as a scientist in Lucknow to start farming moringa. She leased land and launched Doctor Moringa, selling products like moringa capsules, tablets, hair oils, pain-relieving oils, and teas. In FY24, she clocked ₹1.5 crore in revenue. Her business also provides jobs to over 30 women, both part-time and full-time.
