Scientists calculate how long humans would live without ageing
Published in npj Aging, the Skoltech-AIRI study estimated that a hypothetical non-ageing human would have a median lifespan of 1,759 years, with a modelled maximum of 29,221 years. Once DNA damage was factored in, that median dropped to 156 years and the maximum to around 470. Across its multi-organ models, the median ranged from 146 to 194 years.
