Scientists create antibody that detects cancer tumours

Researchers at University of Missouri developed a small antibody that makes certain cancer tumours glow during PET scan imaging enabling quicker evaluation in patients. After conducting tests on mice, tumours containing the cancer-linked protein EphA2 glowed clearly when the antibody was used.
