Scientists develop camera that tracks invisible particles in 3D

Scientists at ETH Zurich have developed a particle detector called PLATON that can track invisible particles, including neutrinos, in detailed 3D using a single light-producing material block. Unlike a conventional camera, its light field camera captures the direction from which light arrives. The technology uses a micro-lens array placed between the camera's main lens and imaging sensor.
