Scientists develop tiny brain chip streaming thoughts in real time
US researchers made a brain-computer interface called Biological Interface System to Cortex (BISC), an ultra-thin, flexible, single-chip neural implant that wirelessly streams neural data at 100 Mbps from brain to computers. It supports advanced AI models to decode movement, perception and intent. BISC can potentially enable minimally invasive treatments for epilepsy, paralysis, blindness, etc.
