Scientists discover new dinosaur species with elaborate headgear

Palaeontologists have discovered Lokiceratops, a 78-million-year-old dinosaur species with crown-like headgear. This 22-foot, 11,000-pound herbivore, named for its resemblance to the Norse god Loki, was found in Montana. The discovery, published in PeerJ, challenges previous assumptions about horned dinosaur diversity and coexistence.
