Scientists from the University of Alabama have discovered a new "demon cavefish" in Bobcat Cave, beneath the US Army's Redstone Arsenal. The new genus of cavefish is eyeless, colourless, and faintly electric blue in life. The new genus, formally known as Demogorgonichthys arcanus, and its characteristics are commonly associated with animals that spend their lives in dark underground environments.
