Scientists find Krypton from outer solar system in Earth's mantle

University of California scientists found Krypton isotopes with planetesimals (tiny parts of a planet) from the outer solar system in geologic hotspots of Iceland and the Galapagos Islands. The scientists said that the isotopes suggested that these outer planets bombarded Earth during its early days. This contradicts the theory that Earth's elements were delivered towards the end of its formation.
