Scientists identify first known fruit-eating dinosaur
Scientists have discovered fossils of a turkey-sized dinosaur named Infernogallus jamesi, the first known dinosaur specialised in eating fruit. The dinosaur, which belonged to a group called theropods, lived around 66 million years ago and had a toothless, parrot-like beak with specialised jaw features to mash soft fruits. Nicknamed 'hell chicken', it was 5 feet long and weighed 11.3 kg.
