Scientists resolve damselfly species confusion in Assam
Scientists have resolved a decades-long taxonomic confusion surrounding Dysphaea assamensis, a damselfly species found in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district. The species had been repeatedly misidentified as Dysphaea walli, first described in Myanmar in 1927. The research involved scientists from Dibrugarh University, MIT-WPU, the Zoological Survey of India and Debraj Roy College.
