Scientists reveal origin of world's oldest natural mummy

Scientists from Cambridge University have confirmed that the oldest mummy found in North America is an ancient ancestor of a native American tribe called 'Fallon Paiute-Shoshone'. The finding discredited a theory claiming the skeleton, known as the 'Spirit Cave mummy', belonged to a group of 'Paleoamericans' existing in North America before native Americans. The skeleton is over 10,000 years old.
