Scientists study ancient sea levels, it reveals when Earth’s poles shifted

A study published in Science suggested Earth’s poles shifted rapidly in past 320 million years, particularly between 150-140 million years ago and 100-90 million years ago. Researchers said whenever the poles shift, the oceans respond, leaving traces of flooding across continents. They studied when seas advanced and retreated across each continent and found four episodes of rapid polar wander.
