Scientists to let ship drift, get trapped in Arctic ice for months

For a new study related to the Arctic region, scientists will deliberately let a ship named Polarstern drift in the sea ice off Siberia, from where it will eventually become locked in the ice for months of the Arctic winter. Researchers from 19 countries are set to take part in this project, which is aimed at studying global climate change.
