Scorpion bites woman on Air India flight to Mumbai; airline issues statement

A female passenger was stung by a scorpion on a Nagpur-Mumbai Air India flight last month, the airline confirmed calling the incident "extremely rare and unfortunate". "On landing..officials accompanied the passenger to the hospital and offered all support to the passenger till discharge," the airline said. The scorpion was found, following which due fumigation process was carried out, it added.
