Scorsese doesn't own cinema: 'Avengers...' director on his remark

Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, the directors of 'Avengers: Endgame' and other Marvel films, have reacted to Martin Scorsese's "Marvel films aren't cinema" remark. "We define cinema...that can bring people together to have...emotional experience," Joe said. "We see it (Avengers: Endgame) as a signifier of emotional success," he added. "Nobody owns cinema...Scorsese doesn't own cinema," Anthony said.
