Scotland beat Ireland to qualify for first ever Women’s World Cup

Scotland defeated Ireland in the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier to qualify for their first-ever Women's T20 World Cup and will take part in the tournament in Bangladesh later this year. The finalists of the ten-team qualifying event are scheduled to qualify for the World Cup. Scotland became the first team to qualify today, a first in their history.
