SD Burman and RD Burman's connection with royal family of Tripura

SD Burman and RD Burman who are legends in the field of music, also belonged to royal families. SD Burman was the youngest son of Nabadwip Chandra Deb Burman, second son of Maharaja Ishan Chandra Manikya, Tripura's ruler from 1849 to 1862. SD Burman's mother, who was RD Burman's grandmother, was Rajkumari Nirmala Devi, the princess from Manipur's royal family.
