SDRF rescues woman after she gives birth in stranded ambulance

Personnel from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) rescued a woman who delivered her baby in an ambulance that was stranded as floods blocked roads in Assam. The woman safely delivered her baby with the help of a Community Health Officer. SDRF personnel then carried the mother and the newborn for several kilometres through floodwater to reach a hospital.
