Seaplane successfully lands at Ganga barrage during trial in Rishikesh

A private company successfully conducted trial landing of seaplane at Ganga barrage in Rishikesh. Once approved, the plane will operate in Andamans after airline gets its license from DGCA. The successful test shows that seaplane operations can work efficiently in India's environment. As seaplanes don't need long runways, they are ideal for areas where airport construction is difficult.
