Seattle schools sue Meta, Alphabet over youth mental health crisis

The Seattle city school district has filed a lawsuit against Alphabet, Meta, Snap and TikTok-parent ByteDance, claiming the firms are responsible for a worsening mental health crisis among students. "Defendants have successfully exploited the vulnerable brains of youth," the lawsuit said. The district includes more than 100 schools and serves about 50,000 children.
