SEBI cautions on paper trading, fantasy games linked to stocks

SEBI cautioned investors against using apps and platforms that offer virtual trading, paper trading or fantasy games linked to stock prices of listed companies. "Participation in unauthorised schemes...is at investors' own risk, cost and consequences, as such schemes/platforms aren't registered with SEBI," the regulator's advisory said. It added that such platforms don't offer investor protection.
