SEBI chief Buch got ₹2.16 cr as rent from company under probe, claims Congress

Congress has accused SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch of corruption. The party claimed that Buch rented out one of her properties to Carol Info Services, a company linked to Wockhardt, which is being investigated by the SEBI in several cases. Buch received ₹2.16 crore rental income between 2018-19 to 2023-24, during which she was a whole-time SEBI member, said Congress.
