SEBI exempts Waaree promoter stake transfer from open offer

SEBI has exempted the transfer of promoter shareholding in Waaree Energies to the CT Doshi Family Trust from triggering a mandatory open offer. The regulator said the transaction is an internal family succession arrangement that does not change control or affect public shareholders. The trust will acquire a 44.88% direct stake and an indirect 18.34% stake.
