SEBI lifts trading ban on JPMorgan unit over market manipulation: Report

India has lifted a trading ban on JPMorgan Chase unit Copthall Mauritius Investment after it deposited ₹2.96 crore to comply with a SEBI order over alleged unlawful gains, Bloomberg reported. SEBI had accused Copthall and Mansi Share and Stock Broking of market manipulation involving BSE closing-auction trades. Both can now trade, but SEBI's investigation into the allegations will continue.
