SEBI registration must for finfluencers: ASCI in new guidelines

The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has updated its guidelines for health and financial influencers. It has stated that financial influencers or 'finfluencers' making content related to stock and investments should be registered with SEBI. "For other financial advice, the influencer must have suitable qualifications such as an IRDAI insurance license, CA [and] CS," ASCI stated.
