SEBI scrubs over 1.2 lakh posts by unregistered 'finfluencers'

SEBI has removed over 1.2 lakh misleading posts by unregistered financial influencers from social media platforms, said Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey. Speaking to ANI, Pandey added that people have to be registered with SEBI and follow their rules if they give investment advice. He also stated that SEBI has deployed an in-house AI tool called 'Sudarshan' to strengthen their surveillance.
