Sec 144 imposed in Lucknow till Feb 10, use of loudspeakers barred: Reports

The Uttar Pradesh government has imposed Section 144 in Lucknow till February 10 in the view of upcoming festivals such as Makar Sankranti and Republic Day, reports stated. As per the orders, the administration has put a ban on protests in the city. Additionally, the use of loudspeakers has been prohibited from 11 pm to 6 am.
