Second Africa-India joint military exercise begins in Pune

The second edition of the Africa-India Field Training Exercise (AFINDEX) 2023 has begun at the Foreign Training Node in Pune today. The exercise is being conducted between India and over 20 nations of the African continent. According to an official statement the exercise, which will last 10 days, will focus on Humanitarian Mine Assistance and United Nations Peacekeeping Operations.
