Second Global COVID-19 Summit scheduled for May 12: US

The second Global COVID-19 Summit will be held on May 12 to discuss efforts to end the pandemic and prepare for future health threats, the US has announced. The virtual gathering will be co-chaired by the US, along with G7, G20, African Union and CARICOM, a Caribbean grouping. "Together, we can mitigate the impact of COVID-19," a joint statement said.
