Second journalist dies suddenly while covering 2022 FIFA World Cup

Within hours of the death of US journalist Grant Wahl during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, another journalist passed away. Al Kass TV photojournalist Khalid al-Misslam passed away suddenly while covering the 2022 FIFA World Cup on December 10. The circumstances around Khalid al-Misslam's death are unclear. Wahl had collapsed at Lusail Stadium and passed away aged 48.
