Second phase of Amaravati land pooling launched amid opposition

The Andhra Pradesh state government began the second phase of land pooling for the Amaravati capital region, aimed at securing land for key infrastructure projects. YSRCP accused the government of reviving land pooling without addressing unresolved issues from the first phase and alleged that farmers were being pushed into giving away land under pressure.
