Secularism a western concept, not needed in India: RSS leader
RSS leader J Nandakumar has said India should reconsider the inclusion of the word 'secular' in Preamble to the Indian Constitution as it's a "western" concept. "Secularism is a western, Semitic concept. It came into existence in the West," he said in an IANS interview. He added that India doesn't need secular ethos as we have moved "way beyond secularism".
