Security forces use tear gas against protestors in Manipur, ex-CM condemns

Ex-Manipur CM N Biren Singh has condemned the use of tear gas by security personnel "in the vicinity of hospitals and residential areas" in Imphal West district. The forces attempted to disperse the protestors. They were protesting the killing of two minor siblings from the Meitei community and the injuring of their mother in a suspected militant attack in Tronglaobi.
