Security paramount: HC as it refuses permission for namaz at Mumbai airport

The Bombay High Court on Thursday refused to permit Muslim drivers and passengers to offer Namaz at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Mumbai, even for the limited period of Ramadan. The court stated that it cannot compromise the security of the airport. "Whether it is religion or otherwise, security is paramount," it added.
