See no obvious short-term end to Middle East war: France

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on Friday said he did not see an obvious short-term end to the ongoing Middle East conflict. "This must in no way serve as a pretext for inaction," he further added while talking to reporters in Tel Aviv. Barrot also outlined France's reservations about ground operation in southern Lebanon by the Israeli military.
