Sehwag thought I'd drop him when I asked him to open: S. Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly, former Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, recalled how Virender Sehwag was stunned when asked to open in Tests. Sehwag, then a middle-order batsman, feared he would be dropped if he failed in the new role. Ganguly gave him a personal guarantee that he would be brought back to the middle order even if he failed.
