Selling of 'Monopoly' game began on this day

The current version of popular board game 'Monopoly' was first put for sale on February 6, 1935, by Parker Brothers manufacturers. Since then, the game has been licensed in over 100 countries and printed in more than 37 languages. The US-origin game was first developed by Charles Darrow in 1933, who sold its rights to Parker Brothers in March 1935.
