Selva Prabhu battled diarrhoea & food poisoning before winning bronze at CWG 2026

Selva Prabhu Thirumaran, who won bronze in the men's triple jump at Commonwealth Games 2026, revealed that he suffered from diarrhoea and food poisoning about a week before the competition. He added he had been unable to sleep properly over the last few days. "I could have jumped a little farther," the 21-year-old, who recorded jump of 16.52 metres, said.
