Sena won't fight Delhi polls to avoid Hindutva votes split: Shinde

Maharashtra Deputy CM and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde on Monday said his party will not contest the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections to avoid a split in "Hindutva votes". "We will, however, take a decision to fight solo in the local body elections after consulting with our alliance partners," Shinde added. The Delhi polls will be held on February 5.
